A hot bowl: BCD Tofu House

BCD Tofu House on Wilshire, at Wilshire and Kingsley, is the closest restaurant to the station in this guide. It opens at 7 a.m. every day, so it works for an early lunch or a late breakfast. Soon tofu, a hot tofu stew with a choice of ingredients, is the center of the menu, which also has galbi and bibimbap.

BCD takes last orders 45 minutes before closing, which matters late at night rather than at noon. The Western Avenue branch, 0.58 miles from the station, opens at 9 a.m.

Pickup ordering: Liu’s Cafe and a Korean burger

On 6th Street, Liu’s Cafe serves Taiwanese cafe food. Its menu lists Chiayi chicken rice, braised pork belly rice, beef noodle soup and kaya jam toast, and the website has an Order Pickup link. It lists hours from Wednesday to Sunday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., so plan another stop on Monday and Tuesday.

At 3438 Wilshire Boulevard, Unninae K-Burger is 0.12 miles from the station. It builds burgers with Korean flavors, such as bulgogi beef, spicy buldak chicken and a shrimp patty, and also has a plain cheeseburger. On the official menu, checked October 24, the Cheese Burger is $8.99 and a Bulgogi Burger combo with tater tots and a drink is $16.99, before tax. You can order pickup through its website or eat in; it opens at 11 a.m. daily.

A longer lunch at the grill

On Olympic Boulevard, Chosun Galbee is the only restaurant here that posts a lunch special: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Wednesday through Monday. Its site describes sets, dosirak and combos served with banchan and seaweed soup. It is closed on Tuesday.

On Vermont Avenue, Park’s BBQ is open from 11 a.m. every day. The official site does not list a separate lunch menu, so check before you count on one. Takeout and reservation links are on its homepage.

On Western Avenue, Jeong Yuk Jeom opens at 11:30 a.m. daily.

Save these for dinner: Danbi and Lapaba

In Chapman Plaza, Danbi opens at 5 p.m. and is closed on Monday. Its site lists uni bibimbap, galbi, spicy sashimi noodles, tuna ssambap and scallop pancake as the dishes it is known for. Reservations are on SevenRooms, and it takes walk-ins when there is room.

Also on Western Avenue, Lapaba serves Italian and Korean dishes from 5 p.m., and its site mentions valet parking.

Before you go

Check the day first: Liu’s Cafe lists no Monday or Tuesday hours, and Chosun Galbee is closed on Tuesday. Then check the hours on the restaurant’s own page on the day you go, since this guide reflects October 24, 2026. The distances here are straight lines, so your walk will be longer.
